Stone facades shaped around your building
A successful facade starts with more than a colour choice. Stone thickness, surface finish, joint layout, corner details and the supporting wall all affect the result. Share elevations, dimensions and reference photographs so the proposed scope can address openings, edges and the relationship between stone and other facade materials. Mechanical fixing and other installation methods must be selected for the actual substrate, stone and building conditions.
Marble and porcelain: choose for the application
Natural marble brings variation in veining and tone. Porcelain offers a different range of finishes and product specifications. Floors, stairs, wet areas and external surfaces have different demands. Confirm slip resistance, maintenance needs, edge details and suitability with the supplier before approving a product. A physical sample is more reliable than a screen for judging colour and texture.
Supply and installation, clearly scoped
An installation quotation should distinguish the selected material from surface preparation, fixing materials, cutting, access equipment, waste and finishing. Existing walls may require additional work before installation begins. Tell us whether you need material supply, installation of already purchased materials or both, and whether the building is occupied or under construction.
The details worth checking before handover
Review alignment, joint consistency, transitions, corners and the finish around windows and doors. Discuss cleaning and care for the chosen material, including whether sealing is appropriate. Keep a record of the approved sample and product information, and agree any warranty terms in the written quotation rather than assuming every material or installation has the same coverage.
